Clarence's pictures are actually very good! Color, exposure and everything is correct, even got one extreme DOF shot with the little 'sunflower'.

Playing around with Raynox, these little critters can test your patience.

They just don't like staying still.

After an hour of chasing these things,

Try throw a little flash on it if it gets windy. =)

Very interesting insect, with blue, red and green on its body, its very shiny too. What is this insect called?

Good try Clunk. trust me, that green fly is very hard to take pics of it. They wont stay still. I got take pics of it and fail many times.. :cry:

Btw, when taking insect macro, try not to take from the top. take the pic at its eye level. unless it looks at you from the top then its ok to take.

Hi Ricsal will keep that in mind. My wife has left for Cameron Highlands today and I have to amuse my self until I go back to Oz Friday night, I am thinking of either Jurong Bird Park or Sentosa, I believe there is a butterfly and insect park there. Which one would be better?

Anyway thursday instead of treetop can we go other places? Like the bird park you mentioned? Because treetop closes at 5pm, i think after my school ends we have not much time left already...
