Thread deleted without notice?

I just had a thread deleted without any notice. The thread was first put up 2 days ago. One of the moderator, BlueStrike had kindly emailed me that he had temp moved it as they need to review the thread. It was then approved for posting and the thread was restored Just upz the thread few mins ago and it was deleted without any notice/reasons at all. :angry:

there are many moderators in the forum, so maybe some didn't know that thread has already been approved and deleted it.

Ok. Thanks for your explanation but I thought the moderator should be polite and kind enough to send me a note instead of just deleting it.

ok after much searching, I found the tread and have moved it back to Kopitiam.

No its not deleted, threads are rarely deleted. Your thread is moved and I am sure you should have guess the reason. We don't like the upping of site advertisements. And since its so called your friend friend site, I am sure the thread movement shouldnt matter that much to you.

I got the permission from one of your moderators regarding this. I guess the admin decided to change policy again. Yes, it doesn't really matter but I thought the basic courtesy of informing the thread starter should still be there.

We have never changed policy, and if we ever change any policy, thats probably because of members who overdo things that we usually close one eye on.

I never know any moderator will have given any go ahead for senseless upping of threads. I believe people to have common sense on that.

And I would expect the basic courtesy of NOT doing such senseless upping in the 1st place.
