Both models will be available in local stores tomorrow for $349 and $649 (without SD card).
I played with them today. Pairing with NFC (Nexus 4) isn't as fast as I was hoping for. Is it faster with Sony NFC phones? Anyway, it would be cool if the photo transfer speed would be faster, the wait is annoyingly slow.

It's working with my Nexus 4 (has also NFC).
Sold my galaxy camera so hope this can be a "replacement"

I bought the QX100 few days ago. I like it as a fun camera, it definitely has better resolution than my phone camera, better lens too. But cannot do much as compared to a RX100 or even my trusty Nex5N.
For a quick FB or blogging shots on the go, this camera does a good job with it carl zeiss lens, large aperture and large sensor. I just hope sony produce better play memories app. Quite crappy imo.

I agree too. Sony's apps are really sad. Like the play memories, the apps on the Nex6 really need more work.

I used to have problems connecting my phone to my NEX 6 using the play memories app directly, after I got the WAP profile set up.
I don't know why, but it may has to do with the phone not being able to switch from 3G to WiFi to the nex6 (or qx for the matter).
But what I tried to do, instead of directly opening the app on my phone after activating the access point on my camera, was to activate access point, only WiFi normally on phone, search for camera access point, connect, then open playmemories app. Not as intuitive, but it works. Phone used was s3 and nexus 4. Hope this helps.

I can pair my QX100 with my Note 3 using NFC.
Anyway, South Asia Computer at Funan having sale of the original Sony battery, so I bought extras cos the battery really suck.
Many selling? Curious to know where u see these sellers? Have been following sony marketplace here and don't see any. I certainly would't mind purchasing a used qx100 set. That's for real.
Probably HWZ, Hinata is quite active there too
