Yup I was thinking about that too, and even considered switching to primes entirely, since there are not many DX zooms that are good but also cheap. But so far there is no DX wide prime yet, so that's not entirely possible. Either way, I'll wait till SamTac gets back to me on prices of the 50/1.8 and the Sigma standard zooms (17-70 and 17-50) to decide. (And also the 35/1.8 for my friend lol)
