Now i see the difference more clearly using PC. Yes, definitely using PS makes the picture cleaner and more detail. Just look at the wordings on the Glade scented gel. :thumbsup:

I also agree that this has somehow become a forgotten lens.
The victim of the pursuit of the new and shiny perhaps.

Tamron 28-75/2.8 is a proven workhorse of a lens.

I only sold it because I decided to go all primes many years back.

Yup, i was too busy thinking of a 24-70 as the norm too! lolx.

More lens test out.. trying out the DA10-17 which was mentioned that it is usable at 14mm.

@13mm , vignette is quite strong at the side.


@14mm, i felt there is still some vignette.


this one seem lots better.


last one is also at @14mm, but using Pentax Multi-exposure, average, 4 shots. The camera stack the images together.

This morning went for a short snap. Very nice rays and sunrise.

K18 at f11 with pixel shift mc mode on. The DR is great...

I have taken more and will post later. Especially the pixel shift function, it is truly amazing with proper set up.
