Took a walk around Haji Lane today with the Revuenon 55/1.2
Its not as highly acclaimed as the OEM 50/1.2 but to me it has its own character.
The lens was designed/made by Tomioka but also comes rebadged as Cosina, Revuenon, Vivitar

Focusing is very FAST and silent but the remarkable thing is the sharpness wide open... awesome. Compared to the DA* 55mm f/1.4, it does focus faster, but it doesn't have WR and loses out on color rendition but that aside, it does a good job.
A quick shot at yesterday's gathering shot handheld under mixed ambient lighting.
Straight out of the camera, resized. (K-5IIs, 1/200sec at f/1.4, ISO400)
Let's see the details on his watch (100% crop)
What lens is he using? (100% crop)
Oooh... And watch that bokeh.... *faints*
Sigma lenses are simply designed to be used wide open... Haha!

Nice results, bro.
Other than the size and weight, and probably lack of WR, I'd say this Sigma is really gonna give the DA*55/1.4 a run for its money.
I'm still interested in the DA*55mm because the Pentax color rendition is punchier. The sharpness is more even from center to edge with the DA*55mm and the WR definitely makes it very desirable with the dreary weather we have now. The Sigma is really nice wide open with little or no vignetting. Center sharpness is just outstanding.
