Anyway I am suggesting Tarmon 28-200. Personnally I find that with a price tag of around $450 this lens is consider cheap but since yeppie99 didn't give a budget for us, So I just suggest a lens that I consider as "cheap & good". This lens also good for beginner who don't know what he/she really interested in shooting as it cover a wide range. Personnally, I find myself normally shoot between 28 -> 110mm. So next lens on my list will be a 50mm 1.8fD (for speed and quality).![]()
But if he really going for a good len ie(70-200/2.8 or 4) then it more adviseable to save enough for it. There is no point spending more if it is going to stay in the dry cabinet after purchaing the newer len.
