Don't be naive. There's no such thing as "so much" profit.Sp service owned by our gov't.
hmm i am confused. Why does SP need to make SO MUCH profit, if it is a supposed to be a gov't service for us?

i am okay with profit. I am just wondering if there is a need to make SO MUCH profit. Afterall, it is a gov't service? Don't we pay somewhat a tax towards maintaining that co?
Doesn't matter what source of electricity is the cheapest, they could beam down microwave energy in the form of wireless power transmission from space-based solar power generators for the next 5 billion years and you still have to Pay And Pay (acronym censored, courtesy of Clubsnap).they are idiots to not switch to oil. oil prices are much lower than gas... the reason why our prices are rising cause we are powered by gas burning. i cant wait till the day we get our nuclear powerplants.

The increase in electricity tariff by Singapore Power (SP) is due to "higher capital and operating costs of power generation" while "the average fuel oil price over the last three months remained stable at about S$102 per barrel".
