Sad to say, it is the people in the industry who determine the market themselves.
In order to get business, people undercut to keep competitive....when they undercut to be competitive, they loose passion and dedication to the work that they produce.
It's no different than a factory producing or manufacturing a product....just churning out videos after videos.
Sure you can say the volume helps offset the low amount per job, but again, it depends on where do you wish to head towards.
My favourite analogy is:
Kia/Chery cars also got their own market share in our small place.
Toyotas/Hondas also got a portion of the pie
Merc/BMW/Lexus also got a fair share
Ferraris & Lambos also got a share in the market.
Which car do you want to be?
If the car importers dun bring in Kia/Chery, then the next lowest level would be Toyotas.
Those who cannot afford will either live without a car or have no choice but to buy a Toyota.
I hope my analogy will bring up some light to those who think they're underpaid for a job.
