thanks ClubSNAP... from me and wifey... wifey now understands our passion... she's getting interested also leh... now wants to buy camera (we went to sim lim after workshop to see the Nikon D5000, becoz she got hold of the brochure @ glass gallery) ^_^

Sorry for the OT but beware of shops that are not trusworthy
Beware of Sim Lim and some other places, even I dare to go there for camera and stuff.

If you are looking for Nikon stuff, the 2 following shops are OK to go to:
- Orient Photo (6th floor Sim Lim Square)
- Lords (1st floor Lucky Plaza)
Yes, I know the locations are notorious, but these 2 shops are not. Do a search on the forum, there are a lot of other people who share their purchase experience with them. Also, do some homework by calling them and other shops to get an idea of what is out there...

Thank you for inviting me to share on Travel Photography at this great event at SAM.
It was great to know that many are interested in Travel Photography.
Hope to see you people on the 8th Aug at The Arts House > :THE GOOD EARTH;
do introduce yourself to me as I didn’t manage to have much chance to get to know you
all at the SAM event.

It was a great show and everyone enjoyed participating . :thumbsup:
Ok, this is better late than never...
Just want to say a thank you to the organisers of the Clubsnap Live@SAM, for inviting me to conduct the wedding photography talk cum workshop. I truly enjoyed myself and hearing from so many of you, especially on the 2nd day
Special thanks to
1) the team and helpers from CS who poured in blood and sweat to make this event happen , and for all the little help and support.
2) Lawrence, da boss from Shiro who not only provided us with the kickass Profoto lights for the workshop, but being there personally to provide technical support.
3) Charby for providing us with the lovely couple (esp for the male model, even though it was a pretty last minute request!)
4) participants who signed up the 2-day workshop, thanks for the enthusiasm. To the wedding photographers who were present, hope to see you guys in the high end wedding market someday.
5) all those who have helped in one way or another.
Participants were not only given a chance to direct the couple, but more than that, a chance to create more edgey and art-si-fied images that can sell for big money.
Some of the photos that we managed to create (sorry, didn't have time to process all the files, other more pressing that screaming for my blood now)
Once again, congratulations for making this event a great success!
