slow down and use the rear brake more.
Alternatively, get down and walk instead.slow down and use the rear brake more.
Totally agreed.Been into MTB like XC, downhill & freeride for 5 years before my P.3 rest firmly at my balcony.
All i can say for cycling is that speed is something within your control and looking far ahead is damn important. Learning to fall & ebraking is the basic of mountain biking, got scars around my leg & arm garther over the years but not as pro as Zhou Chong Qing who broke bones & teeth. Finally, never never forcus more on front brake unless u trying an endou or stoppe..........
Know your limits and be ready for risk if going beyond itBTW, the bike for rent at Ubin got lousy brakes.....so it's meant for leisure cycling only.
These are weekend warriors who DON'T understand the sport. As such, they are the ones who hurt themselves... Just check out with the MTB downhillers, they know the sport, they know how to control the bike so that even if they get a tumble, they won't be hurt that badly. It's those who are acting as HEROS that gets hurt...
fully agreed. just becos a kacang puteh DJ gets his pretty boy face scratched the media makes a big hoo haa and trying to add pressure to the authorities to do something about that stretch of road? It's just crap. I bet they wun even bat an eyelid if it was Chew Ah Beng who fell and broke his neck.U r rite!........MTB is not as easy as wat pple tink it is........
But I sick of the bloody DJ, just y the media is reporting so much on someone who got injured when it's just solely his fault???
Maybe I should inform them 'How Suffer Only Cuts Even When A Taxi Hit U While Cycling'........guess can be front page news![]()

well... it is about "market value" of looks and voice in the media industry.
