Guys, I need some input to build a gaming rig which can run Window Vista 64 bit. Any suggestions on the following?
1) PSU - Prefer Silverstone
2) Motherboard - I am aiming for Asus Striker Extreme 2, my current system using Asus Striker Extreme I for 3 years
3) 8 gig ram
4) Graphic card - Prefer Asus
5) Processors
Thing to take note:
1) Budget - $3K
2) able to run faster color generation and rendering.

since u already have some many preference & budget, why need other people to give u suggestion? just go buy all your preference as long as it is within ur budget
For those that u dont have preference, buy the latest model/technology will do.

Go to SLS, this shop called Bell Systems (i can't remember whether 4th or 5th floor). They'll assemble your PC from various parts and they do it cheap, on the spot. The guys there will be able to recommend the latest parts available. I've been doing this for my last 2 PCs. Have fun! :bsmilie:

BTW, my system is about 3 years old, still running strong, but slow down when processing pictures (You know lah, processing pictures in Gigs in one go) and also low ram, low processors, very noisy and can be used as a heater in my room. :sweat:
I am looking into a system which can match mac pro, but of course at cheaper price. Target system completion by end of the year.
