Wah brother phoa...I only have a camera plus kit lens 18-135 and a cheapo tripod with a head that's starting to wobble liao -_- not even an external flash :sweat: Any advice on what to buy or borrow to make the experience more worthwhile?

Is one fully charged battery likely to be enough for the whole shoot? If not this one at least can still buy before Saturday comes :bsmilie:

shoot wif wat u have..i think maybe have to bump up ur ISO..forget the tripod oso..external speedlite is a must have item for photography, but not for this shoot..

Actually I quite gian about buying a fast lens...I shoot under low light a lot and zoom until 135mm, always use up to ISO1600, even then sometimes not enough -_- But I know damn ex so not even looking into it yet...hahaha

Then perhaps a 50mm f1.8 lens is a good start for u..

Edit: if u want i can sell my one to u..cheap cheap..

What if both want to use the lens but going for different locations? If this situation is frequent, the drybox will end up containing 2 lens of the same kind.

[Initude]

Some important points to take note for this Saturday Car shoot.

Equipments:
Bring all of them. From extreme wide to tele. The arrangement for the shoot covers a lot of distance and angle. Bring tripod a long, you are required to shoot in low light and dark environment. Bring your polarizors and ND filters if available. Got strodes bring them. Got smoke makers bring them. :sweat:

BTW, those with walkie-talkies please bring them. We need a lot them to coordinate the shoot. I will be bring my "MASTER" talkie. :sweat:

Photographers:
Trained yourself to stabilize the camera by hand. You are required to travel on a moving vehicle to shoot the Cars. Be prepared for sudden situations like weather. Prepared for panning shots, tail light shots etc.

Safety:
Do take care. High speed vehicle will be travelling pass you. Look out for high-speed car.

MAJOR NOTE:
PS away the license plate, before you post the pictures.
You are not allow to shoot the car interior unless obtain permission from owners.
Dun vandalize the vehicles.
