TFCD Experience Part 2 - Royal Sporting Mania​

Date : Sat, 16th Feb 08
Time : 0830hrs
Proposed Location : Sentosa Palawan Beach

Models will have 3 sets of apparels.

Proposed required equipment/props: - Pls state whether u all can provide these and additional equipment or gear not present here.

- Volleyball (Redsun x 1)
- Frisbee (highfive x 1)
- Gatorade bottle (Or addidas or nike also can) to give sporty feel (falcon x 1)
- I was thinking of a fan with a generator to create the wind effect on the models... Anyone has those fan and generator? Pierce?? hee...
- Sunblock, for models and for us... in case we may get sunburnt...
- Reflectors (phoa x 1, Redsun x 1)

Shoot details as follows:

Meeting time & place will be 0800hrs@ Harbourfront MRT . Will leave on time to take the bus so do not be late. Those who are driving please PM me so i can arrange u all maybe to drive the models in.

Shoot will start at 0830hrs sharp to avoid harsh sunshine.

Schedule:

0830hrs - 0900hrs: Volleyball Action
0900hrs - 0915hrs: Break & change attire
0915hrs - 0945hrs: Frisbee Action
0945hrs - 1000hrs: Break & change attire

1000hrs - 1045hrs: Team 1 shoot Model 1; Team 2 shoot Model 2
1045hrs - 1100hrs: Break
1100hrs - 1145hrs: Team 2 shoot Model 1; Team 1 shoot Model 2
1145hrs - 1215hrs: Group shoot for 2 models

limken has pulled out as he is overseas. I have switched myself to Team 2. Youhong and dotaboy will be the support unit with cameras armed... haha... All other things remain the same.

I have came up with a list of poses that may be executed for tomorrow first half of the beach volleyball & frisbee shoot. Feel free to add in ideas here.

Low intensity:
1. Front model with hands on butt with hand signal. Another model behind preparing to serve the ball.

2. Model with hands up in the air preparing to smash. Shoot from below with the sky as background.

3. Ball under hand. Model will support the ball between the hand and the waist looking into the camera.

4. Model lying on the sand, posing as if saving the ball.

5. Models jumping in the air exchanging high fives, simulating the celebrations of scoring a point.

High intensity:

1. Jumping in the air preparing to hit the ball. Shoot low with sky/sea as backdrop. Use continuous shooting mode to capture the jump and smash motion.

2. Diving to save the ball. Use continuous shooting mode to capture the moment before the model hits the sand. Shooters to lie low and shoot if possible.

Other poses are definitely possible as these are just some of them to kick start ur creativity. For the second half of the shoot, its more static so use of props will be required. If u all got any sports related items for the models for use, just bring along ok?

So much jumping and diving...I think ask the girls to wear hot pants instead of PE shorts, so they won't have to worry about chow geng so much :sweatsm: dunno whether this counts as a valid suggestion

I am not saying you cant shoot. You can shoot at the land, air and sea. But make sure none of the models and/or photographers are in the frame. Not unless with prior permission.

Anyway since you already holding reflector, you use what to hold yr camera? Legs?

1 to be in shorts/camo tee/bandana/boots
1 to be in camo Pants/tube top/army shirt/boots

Weapons: M16 (replica) Beretta/Glock17 (replica)
