anybody knows how to test if the PSU (power supply unit) in the CPU is working or notch?

my PC totally no light when power up, so i dun know if the PSU is the culprit....

option 1)
- use a different power supply ( swap power supply )

option 2)
- use a different system ( swap CPU )

option 3)
- use a multi-meter to measure ( not 100% true )

option 4)
- bring to shop to verify

buttie my advise is just get a cheap PsU for testing, i hear this problem many times liao, if u use for long and now like this high chance ur PSU.

can check 1 thing first.

when u connect ur psu to the mobo, the mobo will have a small light , it will be on if ur psu is connected, even if PC is off. if that light also not on, then high chance PSU. trust mi, my psu like die 4 times liao HAHAHA lucky got warrenty .... for me its because last time i run server, nv off my pc wan hohohohoho every yr will die once , so the stated 50k hrs is actually 24x7 for 1 year !!
