Nice lens to own. How much is the damage bro:)?

I used the 28-75 on 5D2 and the reason why i'm hesitating is because of the AF speed of 28-75.

Using it on 6D is faster than my ex 5D2 :) maybe 6D AF point more sensitive with f2.8 lens.

hahaha, so far im getting use to the zoom ring being further front instead of nearer by Canon..very good AF on my 5d3..gives me bright sharp picture especially at the centre..but colour turn out not very natural for my liking when shooting indoor under bright tungsten lighting..still getting use to it..

i got it for $1560 from TK..

Ok steady pompipi. Thanks for sharing!

I used to own the Tamron 17-50 and now using the canon 17-55 f2.8. the improvement on speed and accuracy was huge when i upgraded to 17-55! ultra fassst and spot on.

How is the 24-70 focusing speed and accuracy? i am considering this lens for FF

On my 2nd day with the lens, went outdoor, i found the AF to be fast & after ISO adjustment i found the colour to be quite good. Last night my 5d3 was on auto ISO..lolZ

This lens offers very good value for money.

I have rented the Canon Mk1 on 2 occasions and IMO, the Tamron seems to have slightly faster AF..IQ as good & as sharp if not slightly sharper..

Physically, the barrel is bigger & the zoom ring further front than Canon. Thats something i have to get used to.

Seems to me this will be my main lens for quite some time from now on..

Well done.

Bro CC..u also have this babe?

nope but it is an interesting lens. i mux admit that i'm keen after reading a number of good reviews. kekekeke

Sounds like an interesting lens from the contributions here.

Yup, from the various compare and review found on net, it seem a value lens. It not as good as the canon 24-70 mk2, losing in speed by bit etc. But it has a VC and for that price, it a good lens.

Something to note about this lens after few days of use(physically)...the zoom ring is abit stiff & further front from the Canon lens that i'm use to...still getting the zoom & focus ring wrong...:bsmilie: gotto place my dslr+grip on my wrist instead of my palm...:bsmilie:

According to all video review I had seen, canon mk2 is faster.

Canon MkII faster according to reviews...

I was comparing it with my experience with MkI that i have rented on 2 occasions.

lol, not sure if I can trust your experience after this one and after you said the 6D's center point is less sensitive than the 5D3's center point... ;-)

No worries bro..i just share my experience. Anyway, i take most reviews with a pinch of salt unless the reviewer is someone reputable. From your replies here & on other threads, i pressume you have great experience & a pro..please share here, i will gladly learn if its beneficial to me :bsmilie::sweat:

Having used and owned the 24-70L (mark 1) and 24-70VC, the Canon is still faster. But what make bought the Tamron is it's weight & VC for F2.8 weather-seal lens
