I just find Olympus should just focus on the Pens and Om-D as fun and good quality interchangeable system. I just find the EM-1 is a repeat of E-1/E-3/E-5 mistake (taking on the Pro market).
Isn't the EM-1 one of the Om-D family?

As a system/brand matures, its typical to try branching out its reach. The EM-1 IMO here is for this purpose of bringing back the FT users back into the fold and of course, giving another option to the diff consumer types within the MFT family. Whether success or failure, no one knows but from what I can see/felt/experienced, the EM-1 by itself is a admirable camera that can stand on its own against the flagship models by other brands.
and admittingly, I'd be quite sad if Oly decided to limit itself to just 2 product lines. Seeing how Sony has grown to now a camera & lens collection covering every type of user (strictly handphone snapper, QX, , RX , Nex, Alpha series etc), I hope Oly will be able to do this one day too.
