Switching to sony A7 (from m4/3)

Thanks for sharing RanchoRelaxo. Why didn't you use your DSLR zoom lens?

Hmm , because it simply suited his needs I guess.

I bring at least a zoom and a prime out typically but I may also end up not using both. Depends on one's habits and the situations needs.

So you will make technical concessions as long as you can get your shot in a given situation?

You must be a pro to be so open-minded about brands.

I would rather make a technical concession than lose the shot or moment. U should look around more, some photos from a camera phone can be unapologetically sexy.

My apologies for not being a purist.

No offence taken. So you would always like to be ready to shoot when the Decisive Moment unfolds even if it means not changing out a lens?

You must be a pro to be so open-minded about brands.

Each camera system, lenses, phones, etc have their pro and cons, different purposes. They are tools, things you use to make things. Different brands just mean different options. You buy what you need, not brands. If you need a tie, do you buy Levi's, if you need jeans do you buy Goldlion? But you can wear a Goldlion tie with a Levi's jeans for the right occasion, no?

I get your point. So what camera can I get if I want the low light performance and shallower DOF of a large sensor camera but I also want the convenience of not having to constantly change lens?

So what did you hope to achieve out of this useless troll posting? If you don't have any good intent to have a proper discourse with people then just stay off the forum...waste of space
