this is good, nice timing, now all it needs is a composition.

Tip: A good composition with bad exposure is a good picture that can be fixed by PS
A good exposure with a bad composition is a snapshot.

Thanks for your encouraging man....I will work harder on this aspect....looking forward to the next outing man

Nice pics! I've forgotten that the trip was yesterday!

So inspiring! as always! :)

I agree with knoxknocks, perfer this to the heavy ps one, good light with an interesting subject. Maybe you can try cropping it to square format, the top and bottom does nothing for me.

I think I like your composition better than mine.
What do you guys think?

I like this the best.
As usual nice colours, good composition and technique, but I find the the pole on the right and top left should not be chopped, it is just me, I am a WA kinda guy.

#4 The finale

i prefer the lower angle, but that would mean including the balustrade ... which i didn't want

Ortega, #2 is my fav. It'll be magic with some grads :)

Yuhsin, #1 is cute!! ;p Y never show more of the rod?

tried leh, but too many yachts if i include the tip of the fishing rod. so decided to reduce the distraction... :)

IMHO, ortega's shot let's the viewer start from the "entrance", so leading line's emphasis not so strong. Yours starts directly with the leading line.

Guess it's just a matter of personal preference. I don't think either one is better composed than the other. :)

Nice shots guys! I like Ortega's #2 and KnocksKnox's #1...looks like we're in Thailand's Phi Phi lsland man...

Eikin's #6's composition is good, but lacks a bit of contrast.

These are some of my feeble attemps :embrass:

This one's same as KnockKnox's...but with the sun on one side because I thought the clouds has more features on the right...

#3 With Light We Create

i like this one as well, the sea is nicely exposed to bring out the silhouette ... a higher angle (to put all the silhouette in the sea) and a wider angle would be nice tho
