U r welcome Bro, but why are u considering the 17-55 f2.8? its a DX lens man..
U already covered that zoom range in ur 24-70 for ur FX cam....
And at 3,030.oo its way way over priced (as u can get brand new at $2,1XX where no one will buy nwadays as they rather get the 24-70 for 2,3 hundred more)

I have to really apologize to those who in the pics whom I have put the wrong name/nick to. Need to better improve face-name memory link ... but after having my head knocked around when playing rugby when young, sypnases in the brain stop growing good connections .... duh! Thanks for organizing the morning shoot for newbie like me. Looking forward for the next shoot (hopefully next time i have no early morning work so I can join the group pic/bfast and learn from the masters).
Here's a simple pic of mine, hopefully, next time my pics will get better.
And thank you for coming so early! Look out for the next series
The picture looks not horizontally-leveled. Watch out for things like that next time. Could tilt it in the Post Processing phase

Have to apologize on the weather's behalf ... on a clear sunny morning, the sun will make a nice good reflection off the waters as it starts to peek over the horizon, makes for a good composition ... maybe next time we'll get a good picture

Good effort with the panorama! It came out very well! 50mm is a very good lens, don't knock it as a portrait lens only! I sometimes like to shoot landscape with it!

Sleep???? That's a definite plan
May consider either one of the following ...
30th April, Friday - Evening walkabout shoot around Civic Area ... meet up for dinner first, march off, then we have 2 short breaks in between
or
1st May, Saturday - Marina Barrage ... either AM or PM ... but PM seems a more definite one if on that day but worried may be too crowded there
or
8th May, Saturday - Shoot walkabout around Arab Street ... morning of course, meet up for breakfast first, then we head out to Peninsula/Funan to go gear/equipment hunting
or
8th May, Saturday - Shoot walkabout around Little India ... same as above, after breakfast ... after shoot, can consider sauntering to Sim Lim Square to go gear/equipment hunting
But this time, there will be a competition feel to it. Everyone will have to shoot in JPG only, not RAW. After the shoot, while having lunch/break, can do a show. Winner get a cuppa from me ... how's that? But it will have to be limited to a group of only 16 people. Too many will be too messy.
