I believe the main difference is the production process of the carbon fibre. Can feel that the Gitzo's CF is more solid.

Just as an example, the Pagani Zonda R has a triangular weave pattern to the carbon fibres, which is apparently much more complicated to manufacture. As a result, a single bonnet cover (and there's no engine below since it's rear-engined) costs about EUR25,000 :o

Limited numbers = high cost... simple as that... :bsmilie: If you know how much I paid for my VF cover for the raincoat you'll... :ipuke: can call me silly names... :bsmilie:

discontinued model bro... :)
but price diff between basalt explorer and CF explorer (assuming same sections, etc) is about 25-30%.

You means "basalt explorer"? how many section? what is the cost?
Bro, about price of a cigarette brand. PM you the details (forwarded by DD123)

hahaha it's ok la. Paid already no point to call any names.
If you feel that it's useful, that's all that matters ! :)

Well, here goes! I'll remove it after a while... Btw, he's not trained in this event... so forgive his cartoony poses... lolz But I love it coz it's natural.

Please shoot it down (for composition, colour, angles, bokeh, PP, etc)

Thanks, personally I think still much room for improvement, but it's a start... To me maybe the grass is abit too green, angle - so-so... Need to watch out for the background also (often neglected aspect).

Yeah, I wanted the reach so that I can remain obscure... far and unobtrusive also. Plus shooting from far, the bokeh might be blurrier (provided background even further)...

Above angle is purposely selected so that I can remove other people on sight... (but sometimes it's good to have them in)... As Akerue has shown with his "coach in sight" image.

Hello to all shifu, I just finish 1 of my photo in tyersall house. Hope to get some feedback from yr to improve. Thanks for those give me the feedback. :)

Bro, my take on a Jumper.. but this guy is supposed to be a "Professional".. yet he landed sideways..which is why it is interesting for me..

Just another shot with different composition.. I prefer head-on angle.. but need tele.. to minimise impact on the jumper..

Couldnt include the sand pit yet as it was blown.. Will have to PP that part and just didn't have time yet.. :( also dont have the flying in the air feel... which yours has.. :)

If you take my angle, you'll have the possibility of distracting backgrounds also... In your case, you've made the background simple... focused completely on the jumper.

But each angle has its pros and cons for sure...

Sure no problem bro.

More info on my shots of that place was on post #124 @ http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=785953&page=7

Regarding the "Neo Tiew ghost town", moderator sbs99 advised us to be careful of soldiers on guard duties.

Alternatively, i can also bring you to Queenstown's abandoned flats and cinema :)

BTW, i saw abandoned houses near my area too ;)

May i know when you all planning to go?

I'm planning on a head on shot for the coming up running events... This time I plan to cut the limbs... straight for the full body and facial expression... Maybe try black and white...
