Bro.. Not sure when you are shooting Yishun Dam.. Update please..

I'm adding another location.. A place I have passed by a few times but always tooo lazy to step out and shoot.. well known abandoned flats on the west.. Let me know if any Sunchasers want to do a post-Sunrise, pre-Sunset shoot.. anyone?

managed to find some local training shots, not special just normal... taken with the tokina 80-200 2.8..aka the tank... on the old D300s....

Bro ClemC, i am interested in well known abandoned flats in the west.. are they near the Japanese Garden where i had been there to shoot for ghosts at night

Ok.. BROs,, we now have three locations to shoot.. SDW just introudced a third place!!!.. Abandoned flats near Jap Gardens.. BUT I'm not shooting Ghosts!!!... just Flats at Sunrise/Sunset.. LOL

Sent my "Nippon" car for servicing: Change drive shaft, shock absorber, battery, spark plug, break pad...etc
total burn: S$ 1.1k..:cry: :bigeyes:

ohh..no more for Gitzo GT2540EX..:bheart:

Not here... not because I'm afraid to put up my lousy shots...but to prevent casting too much limelight on my kiddo...

How come yours got drive shaft? Your car front-wheel drive leh.
You mean the universal joint at the wheel?

but overall still a good price leh, considering so many new things.


My shocks got variable damping adjustment.... the price... I don't wanna know about it :sweat:

Kriegs - same place sells latest model CarbonFibre 6X, with G-lock.. we got the old expired model only, pick up frm Chinatown.. (material btwn Al & CarbonFibre).. for me, cant effort the newer one..

You means "basalt explorer"? how many section? what is the cost?

I'll stay clear for the moment... don't see a need/want for the EX yet - those, I'm only a casual shooter not ready to move on...

I believe the main difference is the production process of the carbon fibre. Can feel that the Gitzo's CF is more solid.

Just as an example, the Pagani Zonda R has a triangular weave pattern to the carbon fibres, which is apparently much more complicated to manufacture. As a result, a single bonnet cover (and there's no engine below since it's rear-engined) costs about EUR25,000 :o

discontinued model bro... :)

but price diff between basalt explorer and CF explorer (assuming same sections, etc) is about 25-30%.
