No, I have:
01) 70-200 F4 IS USM
02) 15-85 IS USM

So need one is below 15mm

Which will be good?
My dad told me about the Canon 10-22 and Tokina 11-16:dunno:

Wah never check clubsnap for these few days Page 5 already =p

You can also consider the Sigma 8-16mm if you really want WIIIIDEEEE  The MTF charts look quite impressive.

Hello frankchn,
Wa,, confusing now and may be too wide and sure have alot of lens distortion. When I use 15mm I have to do lens correction in PS and not so easy...
So if use this sigma 8-16, the lens correction will be more..
Maybe Im wrong:dunno::dunno::dunno:

If you are talking about optical distortion (e.g. barrel or pin-cushion distortion) then the Sigma 8-16mm is actually okay. Photozone.de tested it to have 2.87% barrel at 8mm and 0.72% pincushion at 16mm so it is quite good. (In comparison, the Samyang 14mm for FF has a 7% barrel distortion on FF and the TS-E 17L, that costs 3x the 8-16, still has a 1.17% barrel distortion).

If you are talking about perspective distortion due to the rectilinear projection of a 3D environment onto a 2D image plane, then I guess it is just something you have to try to work into the composition.

Hello Frankchn,
Wa.. sorry don't really quite understand all but I am actually talking about perspective distortion... I think so,.. the buildings are not straight vertical and horizontal when I use wide angle at 15mm. Yes must work on it and composition... Thanks:)

Hello mimik07 ,

The magazine Digital Camera World uk Sept(or issit Aug...can't remember) issue has a shoot out for UWA lenses. Their review shows that best for canon is the canon 10-22. Same goes for Nikon. Interestingly, Best for Sony and Pentax is the Sigma 10-24 f3.5.

Personally I feel this is a good guide but not an all conclusive as they have miss a few good lenses in the shoot out.

How about Fullframe??

Uhm, do you mean that the parallel lines converge when you try to shoot, e.g. http://photo.net/equipment/canon/tilt-shift-image1.gif? If that's the case, you need a wider lens and stand further back: http://photo.net/equipment/canon/tilt-shift-image2.gif. (Or you can get a shift lens, but they are very very expensive).

TS-E 17mm f/4L
