Hello Uncle
Understand now.. but i think I also poison my Dad. i told him for landscape must use a wider angle lens:dunno:

Sell your 70-200/2.8. Replace it with the 70-200/4 and a Canon 10-22.

Just joking....

Wah Leica summilux 24 f1.4.. whats the price tag? .. can buy 1 D3s + 14-24..

lucky i not into leicas.. *phew*

D3s and 14-24 maybe around there...

Luckily the only 2 rangefinders I have access to are Contax G1 and Hasselblad Xpan.

If I go Leica, I will have to sell everything I own (and probably my backside) just to own the M9 and a couple of lenses.

hahahahha, that crude man, maybe 10-15 commercial job, might just cover the expenses....

Waaa.. your dad very nice. Do research for you.

If you want to take UWA shots indoor or low light, get the tokina 11-16.
If you take only landscapes UWA shots, get the canon 10-22. Both are good lenses.

I am using the 11-16.

good if she could join tomorrow's outing

The magazine Digital Camera World uk Sept(or issit Aug...can't remember) issue has a shoot out for UWA lenses. Their review shows that best for canon is the canon 10-22. Same goes for Nikon. Interestingly, Best for Sony and Pentax is the Sigma 10-24 f3.5.

Personally I feel this is a good guide but not an all conclusive as they have miss a few good lenses in the shoot out.
