Of all the shots, uncle like number 2 the best! :thumbsup: My preference only, okay? Number 3 okay, but personally felt the reflections on the water got cut off too much. And top of the sky a bit empty, hence No 2 wins in my book.

Yup... looking at sigma 20/1.8 and sigma 24/1.8.

Ya... 82mm filter... and very mixed reviews of the 20mm. 24mm generally quite good reviews. 20mm more expensive too.

So your options are already decided upon right? Go for the 24mm then! Either way they are both FF lenses, doubt you can go UW on D300... but best for short-range portraitures! Secondly, you still need the 82mm adaptor ring for your Lee (80 buckaroos)... Can't use ND110... or the CPL 77mm... lotsa upgrades dude...

The thing is, what's really making you wanting to think about 20mm? The range?

or u cld go the alternate 2.8 route, the nikon 20 2.8 or the nikon 20-35 2.8....

albeit its 2.8 at max aperture....
