She was the one prodding me into OP when we were at Sim Lim Square!
Asked me which 1 I liked, and since she wanted to reward me for taking care of her, just pointed to this one, even though I had asked the counter girl to bring out the Photo Clam Pro Gold II QR, but the price was a bit too rich for my taste, for now. That's when I noticed the little G-10 and since it was rated for 10Kg (according to her, but website indicated 18Kg), so I guessed it's sufficient for me
Smiled at my wife, and she said, go ahead! She asked me why that one, that's when I asked the counter girl to bring out the L bracket from Kangringpoche ... for the D3, cost $250! Demonstrated to her the benefits of using an L bracket, and she was sold!
And we walked out of the store ... 1 person happy, 1 person not so unhappy, but satisfied ... guess who is whom!

Good to hear that bro... G10 used to list max weight at 10kg. I just checked again, now it lists as 18 kg... hmmm :think:
But like I said, different companies list max weight differently. I am more comfortable with Manfrotto which under declare max weight.
I think they all went to sleep already. Preparing for the early day tomorrow...

Yes, pretty sure they state G-10 max weight as 10kg previously. That's why I got the G-20 instead last time, in case they overstate ;p

Anyone got the sun this morning? I was like :bigeyes: at magenta clouds and then quickly looked for cam, went to outside room window, test shot with ISO 1600 (didn't need that high), went back down to ISO 320 and had a couple of goodies. The magenta was quickly fading already so I managed to get only one set in before it turned yellow. Not the best landscape shot setting at f3.5 but... what the heck. Shoot first.. :bsmilie:
If I were just 1-2mins earlier, all those patches of clouds would have been magenta :cry:
