Was thinking of getting the 85/1.8... maybe in the future ba.

But I got the 105/2.5 this evening.

The lens is a bit beat up, and there are some strange marks on the aperture blades. Tested the lens and everything... Optics seems ok. This is one hella sharp lens though... Can't complain for $250.

But I got the 105/2.5 this evening.

The lens is a bit beat up, and there are some strange marks on the aperture blades. Tested the lens and everything... Optics seems ok. This is one hella sharp lens though... Can't complain for $250.

Yeah... Saw the WTS thread then fast hand fast leg SMS him. I was quicker by about 1hr
KRW says lousy bokeh, but looks good to me probably I have low expectations
Lens is in fab condition. Like new.
Next outing can bring your 85 and 105? I itchy to try try

I was considering to get the 85/1.8 new in china. But decided against it. I seldom take portraits. And the 85/1.8 is very poisonous, because once you have that, you will forever get the itch to go 1.4. You can ask NNB.

Also, I bought this lens to shoot my BB when he is born. And he will not be moving that much. When he start to grow up, I guess I will have to move to AFD...

Also in the mean time, I am going to go back to film, and the Ai(s) lenses will work with the film cameras we have at home.

Me too... I think this 85/1.8 will be the least-used of my lenses, but it's a good addition nonetheless I feel.
I can easily resist BBB for the f/1.4 because of the price. If it was a couple of hundred $ more, then might be difficult. But the current price difference is HUGE...

anyway no more BBB for a long while! I've already spent more than what I collected for my D80 kit... hahahaha... so end up nett deficit.
