I think it's too long though. 105mm quite restrictive on DX.

Think focal length jus nice fr shoulder to head shots..

Nope. Tian-ya's (天&#28079 filter holder is for 85mm filters like the Cokin P series.

The filters you are talking about are 100mm filters, holders that will fit these are:

1. Lee foundation kit
2. Hitech 100mm holder
3. Cokin Z-pro series holder

Come to think of it, should we organize a tour to Tianya's factory in Zhejiang? If we do the China trip of course.
