158. Children of the plantation workers. Many of them after being adults cannot fit back into their primary culture and they end up working in Sabah - legally or illegally.
The situation is sad as many of them do not have proper education. The Indonesian Consulate provides free education for these children but the schools are in the main towns and many migrants parents cannot afford the transport money to send them to those schools. There is a group of volunteers that go into the different plantations to give free tuition. But all these are only for the primary education.

161. My wife decided to bake lots of cup cakes and I went about giving to the families. It was the first time these children were having cakes!
