Labrador Park jetty on Saturday evening, 16th July. As you all know by now, the jetty is permanently closed. Don't ask me how I got in there, but I did. :) Unfortunately the tides were high and the waves pretty strong despite trying to also bury my tripod deep into the sand for an extra hold, it knocked my tripod on every shot, so didn't really upload the others; see if I could find a way to fix them in Photoshop.

3 Image HDR/DRI using ND 8 graduated hard + orange acrylic sheet.

From Changi Broadwalk this morning... the low tide was awesome!

3 Image HDR and B+W's 10 stop filter. Changi Beach, Singapore.

Seems a bit of colour cast though...

Awesome series! Thanks for the inspiration...

Hey thanks alot. :)

One more again from this morning's Changi Broadwalk...

11 Image HDR/DRI + Orange and ND6 graduated filter. Tone mapped using Nik Software. Changi Beach, Singapore.
My 10-22 was somewhat dusty in the front thanks to the smoke in the air, orbs can be seen. I somehow like the effects it caused especially the corner.

7 image HDR/DRI with ND8 graduated filter. Punggol Beach, Singapore.

It took me a while just to catch the right wave but this particular strong one came and swooshed all the rocks including my tripod. It's so fun to be there for wave catching!

More stunning images to inspire.

Could you share a little of your work flow with Nik software? Would that be color efex pro? or hdr efex pro?

cheers

No it was taken on the 17th of July on a Sunday. :) Thanks!

Nik Software (yep it's HDR effex pro) was alot more better than HDR PhotoMatix and muxh more powerful in terms of tonal compression and tone map performance. Nik software was also much more realistic looking than photomatix. But it's not until recently I manually blend the bracketed exposures together and have it toned mapped in Nik. :) HDR is a kind of technique that needs alot of mastering. :)

Once again guys, many thanks and stay tuned fpr more!
