Me Against The World
Single Image RAW, 34 Image, 17x2 Verto/Pano. Collyer Quay, Singapore.
This was an impromptu shot as it was after finishing a nearby meetup with one of my school buddies. I had my camera and tripod with me so might as well. I wanted to do DRI and longer exposure (More than 30s) for better sky streaks and smoother water effects, but I didn't have my remote. Therefore I can only use what was made available.
Shot this sometime in February but didn't want to process it, as the "thought process" in this photo was just too personal. But I thought hard and decided to. (And to top it off, I took 3 days to post-process this shot as I executed numerous attempts to process it the way I wanted it to be)
You may have heard me saying I never really liked shooting the Singapore skyline - It was probably just too common I guess. I have to come clean on this - I've always yearned innovation and uniqueness and I get bored easily when I do the same things over and over again. It's my defiant nature that keeps me going; I really hate going with the flow, away with what the crowd thinks. I hate being a sheep. I hate being a follower. It makes me wonder how some of the greatest minds revolutionize or innovate that can influence or cause people change the way they think. Can I do that? I don't think I can. Look me standing there, I'm just a stupid ******* in shorts.
As I stared at the city lights with thousands upon thousands of occupants in them, can I influence the mind of the World to change for the better, or is the World restricting me to reach my fullest potential?
OK, I'm probably rambling too much and slightly going out of track... A shot is still a shot of the CBD. Nothing more. And... Yeah that's just me standing there, wandering away with thoughts I myself cannot comprehend. Thanks for viewing.

Enjoy.
UPDATE: Fixed pano mismatch and contrast fix.
UPDATE II: Sharpness fix.
