It's worth every cent going to New Zealand. I think going on a free and easy on a rental camper van will be great for shooting. Tours are a bit rush to capture the best results but it's better for difficult to access places such as Milford Sound.
Solid!!!! :thumbsup:
Makes me wanna save up and go there!
wau...wat a great nice scenery of new zealand....i like the #3 the most..lol..i try to take the star pic b4 but end up fail...zzzz..actually as personal view..if u try to boost up some colour of the cloud a bit in some pic it will be really great pic !!!!...hehe
Must be a very relaxing trip,#3,#41 & #19 are good.

Stan, very nice series. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Stunning pictures!
OT: I hope the SB-400's working well!
Wah, excellent photos, just reminds me of my driving trip there 2 years ago.
It's true that tours are kind of hectic and photo opportunities are pretty limited. Best is to self-drive and stop along those scenic lookouts and take the shots.
The Lake Matheson one would be better if there were no clouds covering Mt Cook and focus more on the lake to catch the reflection.
If you are going to NZ again, can try North Island also. The scenery there is also superb, especially the route from Auckland to Wellington.
:thumbsup:
Depends on how you wana do the trip, budget or not. Its about $3k+ for 12days including air tix, car rentals, food, lodgings, activities etc. Do save up for a trip. its money well spent!I always wanted to go to New Zealand but I dont have the money.
How much is the whole trip?
Lol, u have very nice one of ur own too. quick quick develope them!wow, such nice pics u have there, u actually gt time to post them up, i haven develop mine yet, lol...
Thx for viewing.fantastic! :thumbsup:
Hi boroangel, u must have visited NZ during the full autumn bloom rite? must be much more beautiful. Hope to view your photos soon!I just came back from NZ last sunday too! Havent even had time to look through them yet...gonna put up a few photos myself
some really beautiful shots here with very high standards.
the first star trail shot appeals to me a lot; #13, #26, #30, #41 are simply excellent. i also liked #28 a lot, too bad there wasn't more humour present in the scene :bsmilie:
noticed that you don't really prefer dramatic "something in the foreground" shots, i.e. the type i prefer.. thought it would add more variety. i presume gnd was used extensively here?![]()
Bro,
very nice series. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
wish i could be there 1 day.
mind to share how u hold ur D50 for 15mins in star trials #3? (silly question though, but just interested to know more)![]()
