I saw some reviews online.... just thinking of seeing more and see how first. I have my ST-E2.... so......... still ok........

But I need it when there's no optical line of sight............

I saw how they can change all the setting of slave flash from ST-E3 or EX600RT...... I am sold......

Pocket wizard cannot do this...........

U need not go to the flash one by one and do it (change setting).... and when you shooting with multiple flashes, it is a bit painful........ just that I would need a while to get the flashes........................

Yup, the pure conveniece to group your flashes and adjust the power directly from the transmitter/camera itself.. it's just hard to resisit. I've tried to work around with manual adjustments, it's plain troublesome and it's wasting both your time and your subject's time.. That's the reason I was sold and bought the Pixel King system of transmitter and transceiver cos it allows me to set power and zoom etc of my 580EXII/TTL compatible flashes from my camera itself :D

If you do own the 600EX-RT and intend to buy more, ST-E3 is just pure tempting :bsmilie:

It is very troublesome to do setting.... even if I set group A:B:C, I would still need to do adjustment from time to time, but with this one, it is totally convenience......... time is money, and this save you time, ie. money, but in the short time, you capital expenditure will go up..........

Just hope the 4XXRT come out soon!!!

it is always like that.. short term will burn a hole in your pocket, but long term it saves you time and make your work smooth as a professional, and as an enthusiast, I think it allows you to place more time to enjoy the shooting process rather than running here and there to tune here and there. :D

Well... you will be pampered by the convenience of using the flash........ it is just so easy for setting up.... and changes is just a few fiddle away from you ST-E3RT.....

When doing off shoe with multiple.... it is always a pain to go and set them up one by one... and adjust and adjust....

Work flow should be much faster too like this..............

yes it should be. that's the magic of technology - ease up on the "unnecessary" process and allow us to focus on what's more important and essential.

Anyone knows if the stofen diffuser cap for Canon Speedlite 600ex-RT is available in Singapore ?

U can call the shops to find out.

I am a father shooting my kids and family. very very amateur. the 600EX-RT and ST-E3-RT allow me to do off camera flash with just an hour of reading ( both Sly and 2 user manual). A few press of button and the set up is done. So no more flat bright face when I need to fill in when traveling with family. Still learning more but much as easier to learn with the new menu. The menu also much easier to read for an old man...
