haha... whats up with the title... Special Forces Unit may come in various forms and countries, why subjective and comparison to the ones in Singapore? The TS probably has the intention of enacting a nice plot and nice title to match his results... we should not be stereo-typed... and should open to ideas in photography ;)

PS: mind if i ask where is the hostage if you are mentioning "Hostage Situation"?

2 cents worth of thoughts... hope did not offend anyone

Was a false alarm.... hostage not found in the area... hence a part 2 soon to come ;p

The mercs got a tip off that the hostage was in an abandon building however upon arrival they found out they were too late... hostage has been moved! Dun worry the mercs have gotten another tip off as to the location of the terrorist and hostages. Stay tuned to PART 2!!!!!

PS. Those interested in the part of arms specialists and technical advisors do drop me a PM for part 2. ;p

The story just get more and more exciting :)

The plot thickens...would there be traitors? Backstabbing? Who knows! Stay tuned for Part II !!!

nice series, but i think B&W would tell a better story..
maybe you could add some grain in the pictures..

get in closer to ur subject, capture the beads of sweat on thier faces.
right now to me it just looks like 2 guys running around with cool guns.

but its very different from the norm. which is nice.

Some minor suggestion here, hopefully will not be taken as sweeping statement or chanting out something stupid.

It the title has been " hostile situation " instead of " hostage " it might fit the series.

Can the guys wear beret ? Or have their face painted ?

Add a pair of gloves shouldn't be much problem.

Long hair can tie a hair band...like Rambo.

Usually, in such operation, they will wear long sleeves, right ?

if it can be done towards the evening...don't forget to add some smokes ?

For nite shot, please also add in the laser pointer effect thro the smoke screen.

Add some noise and grain, currently the picture look too smooth, and the two guys look a bit " U-key ".

the concept for all the 3 CSers who posted this 'guys with guns' is nice. but, IMO, it would have been better if the background was less cluttered. somehow, it detracted the impact of the images. a little darker would be more dramatic. somehow, wat i got after browsing thru the images is a sense that it is just "boys with their toys" feel.

i'm not too concern abt the way the guns are held or whether the title is accurate.

if you folks want to see what a really good special forces pic look like, try this (http://www.scottkelby.com/blog/2009/archives/4108#more-4108).
