bought the RX1 third party lens hood and extra batteries from a HK vendor on eBay. The lens hood fits very well and really that is enough for whatever purpose anyone would buy the lens hood for.

I have not yet tested the battery performance. Will give an update once I have that.

Just bought the EVF from Click! The sales lady told me it is not covered by warranty as it is an accessory? Any bros who bought the EVF know if it has warranty? Such an expensive piece of accessory without warranty is pretty scary.

EVFs never had warranties, same for NEX EVFs.

Sony products warranty you can do online. U never register ur rx1?

In website you can try see if it recognizes the evf model number

it's not just "slightly better". looking at the print comparison he did between the M and the RX1, the RX1 is way sharper and more contrasty.

Also, there's a good reason behind it all.

remember, that in Skyfall, the older M died to make way for the more experienced New M.
