To add on... you will also receive some vouchers for you to purchase the other kit lens at $99/- later (probably in July)

Package will include the leather case & 8 gig card

Since the kit package now sold are single lens kit (either 16mm or 18-55mm) you will get to purchase the other kit lens later @ $99/-

Heard the sony vouchers ($300/-) is for you to purchase other accessories.

i.e you don't have to utilise the voucher to purchase the kit lens.

Maybe sony is smart enough to try entice NEX users to purchase the 18-200mm lens.

yeah, can use to buy the a-mount adapter oso for some of nice n cheap lenses like 30mm macro or 50mm 1.8... hope they resolve the non working af for sam/ssm

The Sony NEX has really gotten me interested and i need a new camera

Being readin Clubsnap since news of NEX came out.


Can clarify that u guys are talking about sonystyle outlets?

$300 vouchers seem alot.. can it b used to get memory cards.. slings n tripod?
is the $99 for the extra lens part of this $300?

I went to the Sony Gallery this evening and asked "can u show me the new camera?", hehe sound so funny to me.

Anyway, I like the handling part, nice to hold and the shutter button is well position.

The salesman didnt mention anything about the $99 voucher for the other kit lens but instead it's $300.

Ok, so they probably price the kit lenses at $399 each. U pay cash $99 and the $300 by voucher.
