Should be June 10 unless you are an American...their dates are the other way round.
Ours more on logical flow "day-Month-Year" whereas theirs more for easier sorting by month "Month-Date-Year"

A500/A550 was launched before Sitex but Sony didn't bring them to the show. Can only hope its different this time

don't expect good price in PC show loh,
they only throw in freebies you don't need.

Usually price would be about the same, just more (useless) freebie only.

That's what I am targetting also but if you refer to the other post where the quoted cnet news, Singapore does not seem to have the Nex3-16 package, only Nex5-16 OR Nex3-16-1855 package.

Anyway, it's only $100 difference between 1 and 2 lens kit. I think it's more worth while to get the twin lens kit

I want the $750HK price in Singapore for a NEX3+16mm lens. That way I can get a kick out of paying an SLR-level camera at almost the price of an LX3 :bsmilie: Otherwise $850 can get the very capable Pentax K-x or even the Alpha A200?
But I don't mind springing $100 more for the kit lens if only the lens is not so huge! Why such a big lens for such a small body. :think:

NEX5 will be available in the PC show. Will be going on the first day to avoid disappointment, stock overall in Singapore is quite limited. Thats is from a reliable source.;p

I think its out in Japan already. There are a lot of pics and unboxing pics posted in Flickr (search NEX5). Wow Sony even has their own brand screen protector for the NEX : P

The manual is also available on the Sony.jp webpage Looks like the flash can clip to the camera strap which is nice
