this case looks good for me! i cant have a dry cabinet cos no place to put.. any bro has this? how much is it ah, and is the space sufficient for nex 6 + 16-50, 16mm, 55-210, 500mm mirror lens?

In the long run troublesome to replace the silica beads. Get yourself a 30L cabinet, it's not that big. If you insist on this, well might need two of the drybox to fit all your listed equipment.

Seriously, get a dry cabinet instead.

You don't want to grow fungus on your lens do you? because you forget/no time to replace you exhausted silica beads.

Guys, Let's talk specifically about the NEX 6. Not stuffs like " Now I bought the NEX-6 so what lens/accessories should I get next". Keep General questions like that out to keep this thread tidy.

I guess where the best deals are should be ok.

The case max can house a small dslr with lens , and a Nex camera with one zoom. Depending on the size of your mirror lens, it would be fine to pack all your kit together.

Hi, anyone have any issues connecting via wifi thru play app memories? I saw reviews of not connected to Samsung note 2....
Is it Android or Sony problems?

I also can't get my NEX6 to connect with my Galaxy Note 2.... recent app update still doesn't fix the problem...

It isn't meant to work with a Korean device.

It didn't work with my s3 ICS previously. Then the android app updated and it worked with my s3 ICS. Then my s3 got Jb update. But I Nv tried if it still worked then. Then I know the app got updated 2 days ago. And I just tried. The current app version allowed my s3 Jb v4.1.1 to work.

Is your note android v4.1.1? In either case, I guess the best way is to wait patiently for update.

A nice video head to head battle between d Fujifilm X-E1 & the Sony NEX 6...

Fuji XE-1 vs Sony NEX-6 Shootout - YouTube

;)

I guess no doubt the is iq of Fuji is tops and the details without the aa filter is great. The evf is really something that spoils the entire experience . Honestly , from a practical use and from a value proposition . The nex6 definitely will be more popular with the masses .

Price point is oso cheaper for d NEX 6.

Yep. I think XE-1 appeals to enthusiasts who are really into getting sharp still pictures, and its good looks. However, its ability to take great photos is kinda compromised by its (relatively) less-than-impressive viewfinder and AF. Not a camera for the impatient.

NEX-6, on the other hand, is really great overall. To be honest, at its price, there's really no competition (yet). Both cameras are of different league and genre.

The test looks like its using jpg. The real test in image quality needs to be in raw.

i'm not saying the sony will win on raw, but the test is non-conclusive until we see the raw results

Thanks for heads up. It's early days but I believe my 3rd party flash adaptor might not be able to ttl if looking at both adaptors contact.

Anyway, knowing Sony Singapore, it will be awhile before I can get hold of this adaptor. Best bet is online.

I've heard that 3rd party TTL flash for old Sony mount may not TTL even with Sony adapter on NEX 6. Dunno true or not. In any case, it's full manual yongnuo for me :)

Yup it's in jpg. Unfortunately , testing raw for both cam will tilt the result towards Sony . This is due to the unique rgb array on ex-1 which is causing difficulties for current raw converters to process them well. The best iq is derived from on camera jpegs output from the Fuji.

Until Fuji sort out the raw conversion issue with adobe and other software developers, the fuji raw potential remains unexploited till date.
