Yesterday I ran across a review of the new 16-50mm lens (as usual, forgot to bookmark) with some full-size sample pics at various settings. It appears to have decent center sharpness and nice contrast. But the corners probably won't stand up in anything larger than a 10X15cm print.
Sony obviously knows their market . . . give all the Facebook fotogs a few gimmicks like power zoom, wi-fi, touch screen, and in-camera "editing," and they'll never give a $hit what the pictures look like. Seems like the only thing Sony forgot is that more the serious folks like us would take a shine to the mirrorless concept. :what:
Let's see how dxomark rates this "new" sensor. How much you wanna bet it won't be any better than (if even as good as) the one in the 5n? :flush:

Doubt that the nex6 is targeted at serious folks like us. Although i hardly consider myself one. Rumors are that the nex 7 successor will be released first half of next year. If this site can be believedClubSNAP Photography Forums - ClubSNAP

Well, Sony SG did say it will be released mid-nov on their FB.

Just went down to MS Color to put my name in for Pre-order once it's available.
I intend to do that as well.
Did they mention any ETA?
