Just like to check, anybody has the wireless timer for BULB mode in NEX 7? Please advice the price n where to get if possible. Thanks.

Thanks. I wanna use it to do long exposure shots in BULB mode but with timer option so I dont have to keep pressing on the shutter button. One that can set the timing like 10 mins etc... best if it's a wireless/infra red version. If can find in Sony shop, b kool... 45 bucks is pretty worth it...

Yes, u can't set the timing. It's quite a simple wireless remote.

The problem is the Nex 7 can only used wireless remote & I am not sure is there any 3rd party that has this timer function.

Maybe u can tried sgcamerastore.com ?

Personally I just got a cheap remote from dealextreme (something like US$2.80 IIRC) then do manual self-timer with my phone..
There are other solutions but all costs quite abit.

If you just need long exposures, the cheap after market ones (like the one I have) works... when in bulb mode, one press to open, another to shut Timer would be your watch and finger

U can get one at Sony Store. It's the same one as with the normal alpha cameras

Just bought the original Sony Remote from Cathay today. Same price as Sony Gallery, at $45.00

So stocks are finally reaching Singapore. Maybe just MSC has stocks as I just checked all the Funan shops on weekends but all still no stocks. Even if they have, it will be just 1-2 stocks for being on the waiting queue.
