More waitng? ? :(

I am more worried I end up spending some or half the money I have now set aside for the two bodies..!

Wah bro, you need so many bodies ar?

Yupe i can wait... the 7D is excellent still but I have been using heavily... by the time the new bodies arrive, it might be time to change...

Wah bro, you need so many bodies ar?

Well, I would let my wife use the A100, while I use the two new bodies.

Basically, I need one with wide angle attached, while the other I use with prime lenses.

This greatly reduce risk of dust getting onto sensor from frequent lens swapping.

Also, I like to collect cameras and gears..hehehe...

sigh means the sony flagship will most probably be priced around the same as the nikon D2X which iis about 7k i guess...:dunno:

Aiya... they can't price it so high lah...

SONY is nowhere compared with NIKON - so how can they dare to match prices?

Unless they want their DSLR bodies to sell as slowly book-ends...

SONY dare to. Just look at their lens price. :bsmilie:

That's because they holding up Carl Zies' name....

Lenses & Bodies are different things....

They be damn stupid to price it close to Nikon's DSLRs.... people would rather spend on Nikon...

Sony has been pricing Alpha 100 quite competitively (except their lenses:rolleyes: ), so hopefully it will be the same for the following DSLR

If they smart, they'll sell body cheap cheap like an inkjet printer and make a killing on the cartridges...:bsmilie:

Dun think they'll price the body too high to stay competitive otherwise, we may see more supporters jumping ship and Pentax being the most value for money system and like Sony/KM with the build in IS will benefit the most I guess.

My guess the body is probably going to be priced reasonably. But they'll probably bundle it with stuff, disguising its actual price and making it more of a value offering.

It's like what they did to the A100, and the PS3. However though, bearing in mind that the targeted segment for the upcoming bodies are professional or semi-professionals, it's unlikely that they'll bundle a 'starter kit', but something of value for the targeted segment; or more like perceived 'of value' for the segment or never thought of.

wonder what that might be.. the viewfinder? flash? battery grip?

the flagship model with 35mm f1.4, CZ 85mm f1.4, CZ 135f1.8 and sell it under $10k:bsmilie:

World will be a lovely place!!!!

Why are you contradicting yourself in your post?

let wait for further update from sony 吧。
my prediction it will be a sub S$2k ...came with free batt grip and 8gb cf card with cz 16-80mm as kit.....it shall be able to allow the user to switch to a 1.5 or 1.3 cropped factor thus enable us to used back the digital lens like 16-80, 17-50mm...;p

I have a feeling SONY is going to launch in tandem with Nikon's pro DSLR body in June 26th... If not, they might launch shortly after Nikon...
