yeah its not easy to shoot MF :-) imagine those photograpers before AF was invented :-) shoot sport with it and others you need to have a very good technique and think before you shoot :-). Few pointers I've learned after shooting with MF

1. Peaking is a MUST! :-) unless you uber good :-)
2. Position your self where your subject mostly like to move side to side of you (left and right) once you set your focus it's almost no need to refocus :-)
3. Avoid shooting subject that is moving away and towards you
4. If you can't avoid Situation 3 make sure you move same pace as your subject e.g. stalking from behind or walking backwards and facing your subject or if your expert enough you focus while your subject is moving or pre-focus to a pre-determine spot once your subject on that area shoot!
5. Like Advise 4 anticipate where your subject may land and pre-focus there. This is good for street photog just stand in one area let your subject fall into your trap lolz

That's All I can think of maybe other bros here would have other techniques to share :-)

Pro. Cheers.

Maybe I share one input.

Use Manual Mode, set AUTO-ISO, set a high shutter speed (e.g 1/250) for subject which tend to move so that you wont hit the wall after finding your subject in focus by blurred images.

aiyah where got pro bro? we all shooting MF lenses sure you doing these also or maybe got better style can share? :-)

style? shoot xmm has better performance? :bsmilie:
