For you, only Leica Noctilux F0.95 can match your status now.

Must be F0.95. Not even the Noctilux F1.0.

Once you acquire this, you will be crowned "King Cobra of Poison".

After having a f/1.2... I can only aim for a f/0.95! I will pass this offer... Keke..

Love mine...

Strangely, the Noc f/1.2 is the most sought after one... Noc f/0.95 is one heavy lens... Seems it's best used on the Leica MM... The tones, pop and Bokeh is just... Awesome!

Actually, every Noctilux's are nice. All with different character.

Most sought after because it uses 2 hand polished aspherical elements and was one of the iconic lens designed by Walter Mandler. Also not helped by some hard core collectors dropping a fair amount of venom into the mix

I know the history but seriously... seems not very logical to equate 2 hand polished ashperical elements lenses = astronomical prices... Haha.. My FE 55/1.8 has 3 aspherical elements. The FE 24-70/4 has 5 and 1 ED element... So they should cost 100K! Keke... These ppl, just hoarding on these lenses, should share the love wif us ma...

Hand grounded and machine polished not the same...same deal with the 35mm Summilux-M Aspherical...Leica thought they are too expensive to manufacture and switched to machine polished elements, and cue collectors quickly jack up the prices of the 35 Lux AA

Ok... U dun get my point... Agree these r awesome lenses but... I think its more of nostalgic and status value to own these than just really putting them into good use...

Educate the ladies on why they need to spend thousands of dollars on Prada/Hermes/LV, etc.

Of course I got your point...am saying it's highly desired and highly priced because of a combination of it's rarity, historical significance, collector snobbishness, lens quality, demand and supply etc. Is it better than the latest f/0.95 Noctilux? I'll wait until you purchased both of them and let me know.
