Do FE lenses require post-processing to bring out the right exposure, contrast, levels, etc?

On the way....
Wait for u lo.
Bought a Rokkor 58mm f1.4 from a Bro this afternoon and purchased an adaptor.
here some sample - creamy bokeh...btw is there an f1.2 version?
Just find the centre is a bit soft. Normal?
Think I will visit the shops in Peninsula more as there more old lens on display
Classic lenses are not as sharp as the latest aspherical lenses, and not meant for pixel peeping.
If you are looking for clinical sharpness, classic lens may not meet your needs, especially if using A7R with 36mpx.

Wow! Amazing - guess that the diff in term of dollars for the f1.4 comparing to f1.2. Nevertheless, good entry point for me to try out MF Len!
i wun call it clinical but once u nail the focus on her eyes... the result can be quite amazing... This lens is meant for portraitures...
Did U crop? Distortion is apparent...
Yr 58/1.4 is no slouch. Enjoy it first. Dun let poisonous ppl like coolhirako affect u.
