As long as you can take the weight, it is indeed a very nice lens with good bokeh.

Sold mine though. Too heavy for my M9P, and even more unbalanced for A7.

I totally agree with u on the unbalanced part. Haha... 35/2 ZM is better on ergonomics. Want wider aperture, go for Summilux 35/1.4..

You are into dreamy shots of legacy lenses right? Dont think you will like the clinically sharp modern lens like the 35FE.

Anyway, you shoot mainly mei mei and they will prefer not so "sharp" focus to display pores and pimples. Hahaha.
I almost got a biogon 35/2 ZM here for less than 900... Haha... Anyway, all up to individual what he or she wants. I still dun think FE 35/2.8 is a better buy, for me at the least. :bsmilie:

Haha... I am versatile, can do dreamy and clinical... Keke.. N since when do I become a BTSS XMM shooter? I am a street photographer, aspiring to be lik HCB! Haha

I too agree on that : ) the ZM 35/2 is overall much comfortable to hold with my A7. But after comparing how much bokeh effect the cv can render, i just sold my heart to it :P

I don't know what Leica been feeding their lenses I have this old Summarit LTM 50 f1.5 and it feel likes as heavy as my Cron-R 90....

ya...i just got a leica R 135 F2.8... the weight is really no joke. hope i can get used to it otherwise will end up selling for a lighter 135mm lens.

haha yeah that's another heavy lens I have that too... good thing you don't have the 180mm APO lolz ask Bro TNTrue how heavy that lens is plus he add the 2x APO converter

If you are willing to take the weight, my recommendation would be the Sony CZ 135mm F1.8 A-mount lens with the LA-EA4 adapter.

OK... those r really reaching astronomical price range... come on... let's get down to earth level bro. Haha

haha ya....i only got the leica R 135 F2.8 because it is probably one of the few "reasonably" priced leicas that doesn't cost more then the A7 haha...

plus it is surprisingly sharp wide open at F2.8 contary to some reviews i see online. need to test it further when i have the time thought to see how it performs and if i can tahan the weight :)

will post some test shots tonight.

D main reason I wun go FE 35/2.8 is, Sony can make a Zeiss FE 35/2 but chose not to cannibalize their Rx1/r. I'll rather wait for d proper f/2 or wider lens for d FE mount before committing. If not its a never ending BBB cycle again. Haha

I think it will be a very long wait.

I've a feeling that FE 35/2 might end up being one of the 5 manual focus lenses that Zeiss will be releasing next year.

Hi, can someone advice that when using manual Len, no aperture valve on the cam and kindly anyone advice on the setting of the camera for manual Len and thanks man.
