1st pix even the famous Minolta 58/1.2 at the right circumstances will have these roundish rendering of a busy background. But the lens is sharp (center) at wide open

Almost all famous Bokehlicious lenses have challenges at foliage background. Haha. But at least this lens' rendering has a painterly surreal feel. Cheers.

EF 50 1.2L vs FD 55 1.2. Bokeh from the EF lens is probably smoother, but not a bad performance from the cheap FD lens!

Nice. I don't seem to get nice bokeh from the FE 55 mm. Seems like the way to go is using legacy lenses

Sunday Family day went out today... took some snaps


Below are taken by Pentax-k 135/2.5 all @ wide open

this one took it while I was following the two love birds so was using the LCD and peaking only

This was at MRT saw cute baby shoot from the waist using peaking via LCD crop a bit

Crop a bit as I was a bit far from these kids

She seems to be lost keeps on looking around and walking back an forth

Taken @ Starbuck Paragon shoot from the waist/stomach level using LCD (tilted the LCD) crop a bit

these two take by Sony 1635 both at 35mm not bad for UWA lens use for portrait

Only my kids I could take this close hehe @ f2.8, this lens sometimes cant be use for portraits as it shows skin blemishes

This one @ 35mm few inches away @ f4 still DOF shallow crop a bit focus on the snail body shell start to be soft already :-(
