All the photos here at least 50% can be BTSS material ~ HAHA

But all very nice!

Nice. I don't seem to get nice bokeh from the FE 55 mm. Seems like the way to go is using legacy lenses

The 55 1.8 is still capable of getting nice bokeh, up to headshots and half body portraits. full body and from a distance away, even the 50 F1.2 lense will not have much bokeh to speak of.\

just look at some of bro thoth's shots from the 55 1.8

Having peaking and tilting LCD is very useful in such situation where you need to be discrete (just hope they wont hear A7r shutter sound lolz).

u r the master of Hip shooting :bsmilie:

Thanks for the tips :)

For bro JacePhoto... FE 55/1.8

Nice Black and white bro :-)

using the BW style and export from Sony Image Data Converter instead of import from Lightroom. Adobe should do the same as the IDC...retain the style settings.

another one from the 55 1.2. darn... seem to be using my cheapest lens more than the zeiss sigma or L. This FD lens is a joy to MF

So u getting bk d MF kick ah bro? Haha. Let's do battle of d 50s bro.

hehe sure! maybe its the magic of F1.2. Even though the nokton 1.5 VM is much sharper the feel is just different. With this lens somehow it is easy to MF accurately without using the magnification even.

Of coz. F/1.2 is a special aperture kinda lens for me too. Haha. FE 55 is the casual shooting lens. But u got too many 50ish lenses liao. Time to trim down? Then buy d noc f/0.95! Haha

I like how the FD 50/1.2 renders bro just enough softness it's really ideal for portraits and close up :-)
