hehe let me guess just finished one cuppa is it? Latte (aka kopi) or espresso (aka kipo-o)?

Just woke up. Still stoning. Gg for my cuppa in 10 mins. Need to wash up first. Haha.

I think bro most of the new adaptors to Sony A7/r came from either with in body or lens stabilization... including those coming from NEX and Fuji...

What I do when I shoot indoors I shoot on S-Mode and set my shutter to 1/100 or 1/160, Auto ISO (since A7/r has a good high ISO don't really bothers me much) if I want to freeze and avoid blurring. Outside with nice light source I shoot A-Mode also Auto ISO. Reason I choose these two setting is I normally shoot wide open on my primes legacy lenses seldom step down unless needed, with these two settings I almost don't need to adjust anything other than maybe WB with less things to tweak I can focus on my focusing and framing

Bro, the point I was raising was regarding so much trepidation I've read here about getting sharp images with "all those megapixels;" and that such concern is mathematically unfounded. Since you jumped straight to practcial answers, it looks like the "all those megapixels" thing was never an issue for you in the first place! ;)

I shoot with similar settings, with the addition of using shutter priority/auto ISO outdoors while bird stalking with long glass, roughly 1/2xFL with FF and 1/3xFL with APS-C. I could probably get by 80% of the time with half the shutter speed I use, but I don't wanna miss that 20%! Noise can be dealt with to some degree in PP, but blurring (especially on feathered friends) can't.

Just a thought and suggestion that we may want to keep image sharing to image sharing and leave all the discussions to the discussion thread?

A7 + Hawks' + VC 75 1.8

iso400, 1/500s, f1.8

True bro agree bro 100% these makes photography more fun hehe it would be boring if you have a system that is perfect in all aspect.

I really am impressed with the film photographers they don't have the luxury we all digital shooters have.

I've posted quite a few shots in this thread. If you don't like my text without a photo, feel free to click the little triangle at the bottom of the post.

Same for me bro I guess other than bro Thoth I maybe the next pix spammer in this thread lolz.

Some info sharing won't harm this thread as long iTs with in context not those uber OT topics.

That's what pisses me off . . . there's so much way-OT banter (which I enjoy reading, BTW), but it's MY post that gets followed by the "thought and suggestion"? What I wrote was relevant both to the photos and the disucssion immediately prior.

let's just enjoy everyone's nice images from the a7/r shared here to demonstrate what the camera is capable of in the hands of Csers here.

Yeah there really is quite a bit of OT if you compare with similar threads in other forums. I don't think anyone was targeted though....
relax, all!

To get back into the spirit of this thread, here's a pic - my dog Whisky wishing you all a Happy Chinese New Year!
For this she will take red packets to help with my lens fund :P
