Yeah there really is quite a bit of OT if you compare with similar threads in other forums. I don't think anyone was targeted though.... relax, all! To get back into the spirit of this thread, here's a pic - my dog Whisky wishing you all a Happy Chinese New Year! Sharing more from a shoot yesterday with only the FE 55 f1.8 as well as the el cheapo Sony "Easy Choice" SAL 85mm f2.8 SAM lens mounted on the LA-EA4 It's an official shoot but I took the chance to give my new (few days old!) 55mm and the newish (2 weeks old) 85mm a workout - mostly shot wide open.

The FE 55 is very versatile for small stage setup like this. However, I did run into issues with the camera and lens something not able to focus in lowish light. Below is one example where I nearly missed the moment cos the lens is taking a long time to lock - this would never have happened with my M9 or with manual focus lenses adapted to the A7 Think I will still stick to the M9 for fast sequences like this.... or use MF with the FE 55...

Yup, bro . . . shots are mostly from Cebu area, with a couple shot on the way back from the wildlife sanctuary on Olango Island.

Agree. There is a tat too much 'pet on the back' among the bros. Maybe time for a season II with more solid photos over bonding.

And your post is an excellent example of the things you're criticizing---without a photo included.

CS has been prudent enough to include an "ignore" option as well, a handy feature I think I'll be using liberally in the immediate future…

Yeah bro mine was road trip from Manila all the way up to Ilocus which is almost at the tip of Luzon.
