very good corner performance on the A7S. need abit more PP on the A7R hehe but i like the resolution for landscape shots

no cornerfix, just some adjustments using the color balance sliders and applying them to the 4 corners where there is magenta hehe. blue hour and night shots the purple corners are easy to fix. daytime blue sky shots the color cast is more obvious and take a little more effort to fix properly. perhaps that would be where cornerfix will be useful. i find cornerfix a little tedious as you have to convert the files to DNG first, and i find that some DR headroom is lost when converting other formats to DNG.

Thanks bro yeah and also you need to create the lens profile hehe

I have not tried that technique you doing. May need you to share us your workflow if you don't mind hehe

I'll try to describe it simply here. note that this works best for blue hour and night shots. Daytime scenery require much varying adjustments.

1st edit in adobe camera raw using photoshop, deal with the regular vignetting, around +88 is about right. sharpen and edit other parameters to taste

In photoshop, bring up the color balance tool (ctrl + b). check the highlight box, move the magenta/green slider towards the green direction about +30.

Put your history brush on this state (with green balance upped), go to the previous history step, and use your history brush tool to paint the corners green (counters the magenta). for the history brush, i choose opacity of 50% and color mode.

Hehe i am not that familiar with lightroom. can you do a history brush function to paint isolated adjustments to to the corners?

cv12 is poisonous~~ the corner cast problem is it due to lens itself or sony body problem?

the m mount lenses are designed for bodies using film without the thick sensor stack glass in front of mirrorless cameras, and the a7r small pixel pitch doesnt help either. Good for a7s though. No purple corners

Nice sunset today! A7S + FE1635:
